- The big topic recently is: Should the Magic play their starters consistently as the season is closing? I must say that Stan Van Gundy should remember that this team has won nothing. Getting into the playoffs is great and locking up the third seed is great too. But we haven't won a playoff game since the 2002-2003 season. These core players have little to no experience in the playoffs. Maybe SVG could limit the starters minutes just a little bit, heading into the playoffs. But, I don't think he should hold them out of any games or have them miss too much of one game.
- Tony Battie has been ruled out of playing during the rest of the regular season and playoffs.
- Also, Dwight Howard was hit in the mouth by a stray elbow from Marcin Gortat. He left practice, but is not expected to miss any games. I guess Dwight is getting what he deserves for putting Battie, Nelson, and Cook out for extended periods of time.
